Unless otherwise printed on the card, each card has an individual expiration date one year from the date the card was used to unlock the app.
If someone bought a plastic card they should follow the instructions on the back. If someone bought a card online they will receive an activation code and instructions on the payment confirmation screen. They will also receive their access code and instructions in an emailed receipt. These are the instructions:
1. Download the "GLASS CARD" app on your phone.
2. Login or CREATE AN ACCOUNT.
3. Click the STAR icon on the bottom tab.
4. Click "ENTER ACCESS CODE"
5. Input your access code found in your emailed receipt.
No. The QR codes simply link to your online store to allow people to see the deals. If someone buys a plastic card from you they do NOT need to buy again from the web store. They need to follow the instructions on the back of the card to activate their card.
Yes. For individuals to get credit for their online sales they can instruct friends and family to put their name in the "referral code" box when buying online. Online sales reports are sent out on Mondays if your online balance changed from the previous week.
We can guarantee our discounts are real and legitimate because we never steal deals from other cards and we work with all business merchants ourselves. When a business owner agrees to sponsor the card we send them training materials and resources to help them train their employees to recognize the cards and app.
Occasionally, a new or untrained employee will not recognize the card or know how to redeem the discount. If this happens you or your donor can click the button on the discount screen to send us a message to tell us what happened. We will reach out to our contact(s) at that business to sort things out. 9/10 times the owner apologizes and assures us they will train that new employee or day manager to honor the discount.
We will also quickly follow up with your donor with the resolution of the matter. No one does customer service as well as Glass Card!
On the 'Glass Card' app navigate to the deal you want to redeem. Wait until you order with a business employee, and then just show your phone and click 'USE NOW'.
Your online sales balance will be deducted from your final invoice or can be cashed out through Venmo after the end of your fundraiser.
Your web link will not be activated until we get closer to your start date and start uploading finalized deals into the system. Deals go through an individual quality check and upload process and new deals go live on Mondays.
The Glass Card deal network is one of the largest legitimate deal networks for fundraising cards in the country. To our knowledge no legitimate fundraiser card can have a "national partnership" for discounts to every franchise location unless it is a card made directly by the company-- like Krispy Kreme.
Each discount on our network is authorized on a local level by local business owners or acting managers. You essentially are sharing discounts with fundraising groups all around the country.
Whenever you open the app the app will do a search around you to find local deals. When you travel remember to open the app to see what new local deals there are.
